There is not much in the natural world that I have experienced more thrilling and or scary than a charging grizzly bear heading right at me. In Africa I am a vehicle and when the lions and cheetahs hunt so I feel always safe but in this situation I was wading out in waters off Lake Clark National Park with a 600 mm lens on a tripod when the action suddenly turned intense.
